When we have carry over positions especially in stock options . Due to the increase in required margin blocked.
There is noway to see the amount blocked for each script.
Can this be accomodated ?
Margin like money is fungible, so some margin may come because of leverage, some for cash, some for collateral and so on… making all this very difficult. Margins increase or decrease through the day / positions and so on. Let’s say if we even show it - then the next would be to exit and free up exactly that margin.
We had tried to do this earlier, but could not. Realised it is not possible for many reason, at not possible right now.
