If you are a trader, you know this - Charts and Pattern Analysis has always been very important for Intraday and Options traders.
Reading these charts with technical indicators gives more insights and strengthens the conviction toward a trade. Dhan charts have 100+ technical indicators with a consolidated list here. We have always ensured that we make the best use of these and build better trading products that will help you trade better - with information, insights and data. Some of the earliest users know we built this just after the launch and introduced Technicals & Technical Orders on Dhan (more about that can be read here) which is now available on Dhan Web, Dhan App & also our Options Trading app.
At Dhan, we have visually shown these popular technical indicators in a separate section on the company page. This helps traders to get a sense of technicals before they go to the charts, like how one reads and analyses fundamentals & financials of the company.
Till now, we showed all this information to you based on the previous day. Now we take your trading experience further & better with the introduction of - Real-Time Technical Indicators.
Introducing: Real-Time Technical Indicators on Dhan web
Let’s start with asking a basic question that we asked ourselves - why would we trade today on the basis of data from yesterday? And especially when we are going to take a position for a small time frame - say a few minutes or less than an hour? It didn’t make much sense, so we got to build this.
Starting today, we have introduced time-frames to our Technical section of all our company pages on Dhan web. You can select between the shorter time-frames like 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes and of course the standard 1 day period to view the technicals on any stock on Dhan.
The list of these real-time technical are as follows:
- Pivot Points - Standard
- Pivot Points - Fibonacci
- Pivot Points - Camarilla
- Simple Moving Average (SMA) - 5,10,20,50,100,200
- Exponential Moving Average (EMA) - 5, 10, 20, 50,100,200
- Relative Strength Index (RSI)
- Average True Range
- Stochastic RSI
- Average Directional Moving Index (ADX)
- Ultimate Oscillator (UO)
- Rate of Change (ROC)
Along with these real-time technicals, in the Pivots Point section, you will see the LTP moving in real-time, this makes it easy for traders to find support or resistance and trade instantly with technical orders. When you click on the yellow button of a technical order, you will get a technical scale with R1, R2, R3, P, S1, S2, and S3 plotted and easily pick the desired price point to place this order.
Hope you like this update. Let us know below in the thread what all more indicators you want to see in the future on this page.
It’s live now on Dhan web, and we hope to bring this on Dhan app and on the Options Trader app very soon.
Happy Trading, as always on Dhan!
