Not allowed to exit my order

Dear Team,
Today, I have placed a PUT order and tried to place stoploss to minimise my loss.
Unfortunately, the system didn´t allowed me to place I lost around 45K just because of this error.

Why I am getting this error and how to avoid it immediately?
If this can´t resolved, I will close my account and move to another operator.

It seems you have not used “Exit” option from position tab to square-off your order. Request you to connect with us on help@dhan.co so we can assist further.

So that means the stop-loss exit option is a useless feature.
What is the purpose of this feature?
