Hi team,

Please explain what does this mean in simple terms and how it will affect retail investors.

“From 12Nov22 early payin instructions without UCC will lead to payin failure/shortage in settlement obligations due to implementation of block mechanism - CDSL”

Hi @pratik01

This primarily impacts brokers. For client trades, at the time of pay-in of securities, the client UCC also needs to be mentioned. Dhan is already compliant with this requirement.
