Hi Everyone! :wave:

I am Jay, an Investor, and aspiring to be a Trader. I am based out of Mumbai.

As an investor, I have been in the markets since 2013. Majority of my investments are in MF. :money_with_wings:

For Equity & Index Trading, I have tried everything most of the new traders do, gone with friend’s advice, traded based on “research” reports, “Tips” from Telegram channels, used my “instincts”, etc. :blush: And have understood (with losses) nothing works, till you have your own method/rationale for each trade, be it short term or long term. So currently, my very limited investment is based on 2-3 indicators, along with price action and market sentiment. :man_technologist: What I am yet to learn is the “right” time to remain invested, which I believe is where most of investors/traders have regrets.

Though I started working in the Broking Industry from 2018, its only after joining Dhan in 2021, that I have understood the real depth of trading, markets and technical analysis. Our Super Traders clearly know about trading more than we do, and we are learning everyday. The company culture of high focus on understanding and building only based on user requirements has helped me accelerate my learning about the markets. :rocket:

Fun Fact: Be generous with profit (let the profits grow) and be ruthless with losses (make happy losses and exit).

Market Exposure: I heard about stock market since 1992 but never invested or traded till 2007. First MF investment done was in 2007, first stock investmet was in 2008. Since 2014, invested regularly and since 2021 became a professional full time trader leaving behind over 25 plus years of corporate career. Now enjoying the time freedom to the fullest.
