Holdings disappeared. Forever sell order triggered but got rejected because it couldn’t find holdings.

shouldn’t reconcile happen before market hour ? , since 8am my portfolio isn’t reflecting, i thought maybe once market open it will appear but that didn’t happen , I doubt its related to reconcile at all !

Yes, that is the case usually. It ran ahead of time today, we will figure out why.

I called on support number and I am told that team is working on the issue and it would take further half an hour. Further half an hour is a long long time. @PravinJ

What to do in such cases when quantity is doubled? Can I still successfully sell original quantity which exists in my demat account while the issue is ongoing without running into any issues later? @PravinJ @shraddha

Holdings as of yesterday morning are updated. Transactions done yesterday will be updated by EOD.

My yesterday’s position are not showing. How can I see them @JayK

What if the user by mistake sells the quantity showing in holdings even though real quantity is only 50%? Dhan would allow the order to get executed thereby resulting in short delivery?

@Lkay today is a settlement holiday. Hence any positions bought yesterday will not reflect in your portfolio today. A notification was also sent for the same. For details refer to this post: Wed 22 March 2023: Settlement Holiday and How does it impact you?

What Dhan should do in such cases is proper communication. There was and is no banner or notification or update anywhere on Dhan Web regarding this issue. On holdings page itself, there should be banner update that quantity is doubled but I can only sell 50% successfully. I was waiting for updates either on this community or when I called customer service team but did not receive any reply on time. Now have lost price as well at which I wanted to sell. @PravinJ @JayK
