Close price update in app

Hi @Dhan_Help

As we know the daily closing price for index and f&o is the last 30 minute weighted average price and not the ltp. This update seems to be happening in Dhan app around 8 AM after market close the previous day. Is it possible to update this info on app the same day itself as exchange release this data same day itself ?

Hi @t7support,

We checked with our team, and found that all margin & positions updates, along with settlement prices are done post 11.30pm once the MCX market closes. Margins are utilized across all segments, and hence we do our end of day processing once all markets are closed.

Today the price of nifty 9 june 16600 pe updated around 8 am only. It was around 139 till then and post the update moved to around 143 which is the weighted average close price.

That’s correct. Currently this is the time set for price updation.

Ya so can it be updated before that time since Nifty closes at 3.30 PM. For instance in tradingview Nifty Index chart I see the closing prices getting updated around 8 PM the same day.
