Ability to do mathematical operations (good to have) - Not many people know how useful this is!
2.1) I use this to see how my portfolio have performed compared to nifty in the past. Imagine I have 3 stocks, so I avg them and then add comparison to Nifty like this -
2.2) Now imagine you already show option chart on TView in Dhan, with this feature all user has to do is Option 1 + Option 2 and this will give them strangle, straddle chart or any combination they want to visualize
Allow pine script of TView and allow pine scripts indicator in TView to Dhan (if possible)
Additional Request - I have traded 2 expiries on Dhan and the experience was amazing and I’m eagerly waiting to move my holdings from Zerodha to Dhan but I trade on MF margin, is there a timeline as to when can you bring MF to Dhan?
Thanks for your suggestions and feedback. #1 and #3 are core features of the TradingView library, they are not extended by TV team to the hosted version of trading we use on tv.dhan.co
For #2, we will check on this.
Mutual Funds on Dhan are work in progress, our teams are already building this and we expect to bring them to Dhan soon.
glad you like it, but yes these are the 2 use cases I found useful … earlier I used to trade in commodity then I wanted to see US commodity charts but they were all in USD, so I used to do following operation to make US charts in INR
US commodity/USDINR and then use compare option to compare with India commodity chart, just to know the premium/discount at which indian commodities are… so on and so forth…
A lot can be done using these mathematical operation only if you can think how to leverage it
When would you add/integrate the arithmetic operation feature of TradingView on Dhan TV platform? It would be much easier to plot straddles/strangles live and use indicators on the same.
1 more… u can make your own custom index according to the stocks u like… e.g. u can add all the cement stocks or adani stocks , all in one & track it as index. ( In short , useful to make our own index)
In Tradingview free version , they also allow this ! they just don’t let u track it for smaller time frame like 5 min , 15 min , 1 hour. but allow us to view in 1 Day or higher time frame for free…
