By now you are aware that each time we build a feature or product on Dhan, we don’t just leave it at that. We always go and revisit these and brainstorm on how we can improve your experience a notch higher. And more often than not, we have your consistent feedback to thank for that shows us the way forward.
Just to recall. You can add money on Dhan via UPI, Netbanking & Smart Transfer (IMPS, RTGS & NEFT), all of which are FREE of cost. We believe that Dhan is possibly the only stock broking platform that does not charge any additional fees for adding funds to your trading account. You can read more about it here.
Now, so far, UPI has remained the most popular method of adding funds on Dhan which is why we believe it should be equally simple to do so. Until now, while transferring money via UPI, you would have to remember your VPA & type it in, post which you would have to complete the process by verifying the payment on the respective UPI app. To simplify this, we are now introducing - UPI Intent Flow for payments.
What does it mean for you?
- While topping up funds via UPI, a list of apps such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm will be displayed pre-populated with your linked bank details.
- By simply tapping on the preferred method, you can add funds to your Dhan account within seconds by entering your UPI PIN.
- There is no need to switch between applications to do this, as you will automatically be redirected to the UPI PIN page of respective App
