Could it be possible to answer below questions?

  1. What’s the charges for pledging stocks ?
  2. I can use pledged amount to buy option but then if option buying is in loss then ?

Hi @Pramodgn

There will be a small fee of Rs 12.5 + GST per ISIN for each pledging request. The charges for un-pledging are also the same.

The Margin Benefit on Dhan is applicable for both Options Buying and Options Selling. If there is a debit in the ledger then pledged stocks equivalent to the debit amount are squared off to clear the debit on the 5th day.
