Realized and unrealized gain in p&l report

I have also reported it before (What is my realized/un-realized and total profit or loss?) but now that post is closed and cannot be reopened by me. Anyways, I checked p&l again today and I see unrealized gain/loss is always zero. I wonder what is the significance of it if it’s always zero?

I feel the big girls at dhan need to understand what unrealized gain/loss actually mean by taking clue from may be other brokers and update accordingly.

Those are P&Ls of other segments like FnO, currency, and commodity where you haven’t done any trade. I can see realized PNL of INR 52665.75 in equity.

I am talking about unrealized P&L column.

@gmatesunny It is the work in progress. Based on the closing price, the unrealized PNL would be calculated. In the next release we would roll this out as well.
